Achieving Sustainable Development Goals at the UN Support Mission in Libya Meeting

MENA for Exhibitions and Conferences participated in a joint coordination meeting held in the capital, Tripoli. The meeting brought together the UNSMIL Youth Working Group in Libya with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Committee of the House of Representatives and the Ministry of Youth. The session was attended by representatives from UN agencies, members of the House of Representatives, and relevant national institutions.

MENA’s participation, represented by Executive Director Mr. Al-Mahdi Al-Bahloul, reflects the company’s commitment to supporting global sustainable development. During the meeting, the company presented the specific Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that the MENA Exhibition achieves at a local level. This aligns with the company’s strategic plan to integrate these goals into its annual programs, events, and exhibitions.

MENA emphasizes that its participation in this meeting is part of its preparations to launch a new phase of operations starting in 2026. This coincide with the launch of the MENA Projects 26 Exhibition, which serves as a strategic platform to bridge the public and private sectors within the construction and building industry, support sustainable development initiatives, and contribute to the realization of Libya Vision 2030.
